feast days - leviticus 23

Passover

CONSECRATION OF THE FIRST BORN

Considering the Feast of Passover, we see the following:

Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.

We first see the Passover Lamb in Exodus 12:5 where it says, “Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: Exo 12:6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

We see that Jesus was the passover Lamb, the Apostle Peter speaks of Christ as the Lamb that was without spot or blemish.

1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

In Exodus 13:1-2 Before the Feast of Unleavened bread we also see the consecration of the Firstborn.

Exo 13:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Exo 13:2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

Jesus was the firstborn and we in Christ partake of His inheritance as the church of the Firstborn.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Heb 11:28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Heb 12:23  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Unleavened Bread

Dear Beloved,

We have come to the passover and in the previous email we were looking at the passover from the perspective of what was prophesied in the old covenant and now in the NEW covenant CHRIST is the FULFILLMENT. Hallelujah!!

I now would like to deal with the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

During the Passover season the Israelites were also commanded to celebrate the Feast of Unleavened bread as follows;

Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.

Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Lev 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

The Passover speaks of one being crucified with Jesus. The feast of unleavened bread speaks of how one keeps in Christ by resolving not to partake of any leaven.

The apostle Paul explained how the new testament believer keeps the feast.

1Co_5:8  Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Jesus warned also of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees (Matt 16:11-12) which is then defined as being their false doctrine.

In the time of the burial of Christ, a three day period, He established our victory and then rose again.

In this way, keeping immersed in His Word ensures that we are ones that do not walk with leaven but in sincerity and truth.

Blessings

First Fruits

Happy resurrection Sunday everyone!

The Holy Spirit's power raised Jesus from the dead and Jesus was presented as the first fruits among many brethren.

The apostle describes Christ as the first fruits as follows:

1Co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1Co 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

This is the fulfillment of what was written in Leviticus 23.

When the sheaf from the harvest was waved before the Lord this pictures Jesus being raised as in His resurrection.

Lev 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Lev 23:12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

In this time Israel was commemorating how God would give His best offering and only begotten Son for humanities sins.

The harvest season at this time was the barley harvest, the wheat harvest came later.

The word barley in Hebrew is as follows

H8175
שָׂעַר
śâ‛ar
saw-ar'
A rpim root; to storm; by implication to shiver, that is, fear: - be (horribly) afraid, fear, hurl as a storm, be tempestuous, come like (take away as with) a whirlwind.

It is interesting to see here that these terms describe what one would feel if they were under a curse. Jesus took the curse on the cross. The redeemed are therefore not under the curse.

With the resurrection comes the opposite ie: joy, peace, righteousness and rejoicing.

Rev_22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Therefore the wave offering of the barley sheaves opened out of the place of where Jesus took the curse -had gone to the lower parts of the earth to take back the keys of death and hades hence breaking the chains of bondage and every attempt of satan, for ours is the victory!! For where the debt was paid we are now resurrected in Christ Jesus.

Now having access to His throne in heaven we are citizens of where no curse can be. Rev 22:3 can speak of our final destination but can also speak of our citizenship in through the rent veil. The benefits of our final destination can therefore be understood now in our walk of faith.

Coming into the feast of Weeks/Pentecost

After this would begin the counting of the omer over seven sabbaths ie: seven weeks this then being called the Feast of Weeks. Seven weeks culminates to 50 days which we know to be the Feast of Pentecost in the New Testament.

This also begins the start of the wheat harvest that represents the harvest of souls to be won to Christ after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Blessings in Jesus our Lord

Feast of Weeks

Pentecost 1

Dear beloved,

We have just past the Pentecost season (as yesterday was Pentecost Sunday)- I had looked at the Levitus 23 portion on this feast. There is a lot to consider in the detail of this portion and in His grace I believe we will be able to go through the revelation.

Hopefully we can go through it a portion at a time.

The details of these offerings are now a prophetic revelation in how Christ has fulfilled all things.

For the first part Leviticus 23:15-16 we go to the themes of Pentecost drawing also from the book of Acts and Exodus. By the end I hope we can come to an understanding about the themes of Pentecost.

Blessings Helen.

Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: .

Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

Fifty days represent the day of Pentecost the out-pouring of His Spirit. We see the account of the New Testament fulfillment in the book of Acts.

Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Holy Spirit's breakthrough had now equipped the believers. It came through a tarrying in the season of seeking the Lord. He was sought in the place of the upper room. It was in fact a hidden day, a place where the 120 gathered. The 120 is representative of where there is an end of all flesh- Moses for example died at 120 years of age; in Genesis 6:3 God's Spirit would not abide with the flesh of man past 120 years. This number signifies that which many today need to understand that the gifts of the Spirit that are bestowed upon the believer are to be without the seeking out for man's praise and without competitions but with resolve to know in the authority of Christ as having been risen in Him. A person in authority is intimate to own not the gift but to know it came from the One above. At Pentecost we see that the gifts of the Spirit came from 'on high' when they tarried. And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But remain in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” Let us also remember that Timothy was encouraged to stir up his gift. 2Ti 1:6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The Lord is also sounding a trumpet, this is the alert to you who are in the key of tradition. The tradition of man is not going to release life in the power of the Spirit. There is a day of reckoning for those who are in a framework that does not include the power. The Lord would want you to be in time to His framework and realign back to the key of the tree of life. The Lord has an emphasis on this point that He will not align to a traditional framework. In this wrong framework there is an altar of unbelief where the power of God is not believed upon. It is going to cost people to be outside of the faith realm. In these places the events in the book of Acts are not considered as something that could happen today. He wants to release healing to those who are trapped in these frameworks and He wants to deliver them from these religious powers.

16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (Heb 10:16).

Fifty days after the Passover, Israel came to mount Sinai, this here gives us a picture of Pentecost, this is where God would reveal His conviction where He would give unto them the law and that law would be that which would ignite their lives. The laws of the Lord seals us into His purity. In the new covenant the Holy Spirit was scribing upon their hearts. The positions us to honor those things God has endowed upon our lives.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Pentecost 2

Pentecost message continued Lev 23:17 Part 2

Dear beloved,

We are pressing on to more of the revelation relating to Pentecost. Again Leviticus 23 gives us more of the foundation to Pentecost. God is confirming this as I see a vision of a beam laid.
The two wave loaves that were offered by the Lord is a representation of Father and Son revealing themselves.
The Holy Spirit comes to seal the foundation of the Son in where He opened the door back to the Father.
Lev 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.
Lev 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with
leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

Ye shall bring out of your habitations: We see that they brought out of their habitations the two wave loaves.
They shall make the two wave loaves with two tenth deals. The two tenth deals are two tenth portions. A tenth 1/10 (1 = the least) speaks of a threshold of where one reaches sufficiency. One of Yahweh's titles is El Shaddai translated, the All Sufficient God. This represents the Son's portion as being all sufficient to where Christ revealed the Father. We see this in the gospel of John 14:8-21. Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? According to Christ it was in fact sufficient in where He, the Son, would show us the Father. The Son for example showed us His righteousness. If one was to show us the works commanded by God without righteousness we would not really know the Father but if their works follow with and consist of the righteousness of the Son then truly we then are in the place to know the Father and this is where we seal 'a rest day' in knowing the Father. In this way the Sabbath is kept holy. Overall, in the two wave loaves we see that this Sabbath or rest day lies in us knowing the Father in where the Son has testified.
All that Jesus had done was because He had first seen the Father doing so.
Joh 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
The fine flour: The fine flour speaks of refinement. Jesus was manifested to show us His testament as He demonstrated complete obedience to the Father.
The wave loaves were to be baked with leaven - normally we see leaven in the gospels to be defined as sin, now the leaven here speaks of that which will break the barrier from that which hinders the power of the resurrection. They are the first fruits unto the Lord.

Pentecost 3

Dear Beloved,

In early September we will be coming to the feast of trumpets a very short passage indeed in Lev 23 compared to the Feast of Pentecost - The very themes of Pentecost however deal with the trumpet of God as the Feast of Pentecost outlines the prescription God has to keeping the purity of faith in our life as believers.
We now move on to the revelation on some of the animals used in the Pentecost offering. Before we had looked at the two wave loaves which was the meal offering now we embark on looking at the burnt offering.

Lev 23:18 And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.

ONE
With the bread...
The bread : We first see that the bread is the first offering in this verse and speaks of Christ Himself as the bread that came down from heaven.
John 6: 30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ” 32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
In embracing life in the power of Pentecost one has to take note of this important key. That whoever has the true bread of God is satisfied. He who believes in the true bread never thirsts. Life is the fruit of one having known the true bread.
That which is not revealed by the armour of faith nor by the power of His Spirit cannot give life, but the true bread gives life.
The Lord brings satisfaction to a wasteland. In Job 38:27 it says that, is He not the one "to satisfy the desolate and waste ground, and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?"
The scroll of the Lord does not bear the yoke of not knowing Him. Some demand for more, in some movements this is greatly encouraged. If one asks for more let it be because their cup isn't yet full - not because the true teaching is not being preached. The teaching that is of the Lord however, Hallelujah, will satisfy.
In the Jewish nation, after the feast of tabernacles, the Jewish people have a celebration in what is the rejoicing in the Torah. For where the Word is rejoiced in, Jesus manifests Himself to the faithful.

TWO
These animal offerings give a representation of how the door is opened to the Kingdom in Christ.
Seven lambs without blemish: In the seven lambs we see an awakening to the seven fold Spirit (depicted in the seven lambs) unveils the revelation of the written Word and true nature and stature of the Lord as we are being established to honor His kingdom.
The centurion in Matthew 8:8 demonstrates this very well. The centurion had said to the Lord "...but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." The centurion was applying wisdom responding to the divine authority of Christ both with the understanding that the Word from the mouth of the Son of God sufficed for His servant to be healed. The man's understanding is applied in Mat 8:9 "For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it." The Spirit of Might and Counsel encompasses the healing and deliverance ministry of Christ. Christ declared it would be done for the servant. This fills us with the knowledge about the truth concerning faith in the Son of God. It causes us to fear the Lord in how we honor faith. The Spirit of God is working powerfully according to His Word. Jesus had marvelled at the centurions faith. Here we understand how God can marvel at the faith of a man, how much it means for Him to have a Son understanding His Kingdom.

In time to the life given by the true bread there is also a place of rest. The position of rest, here, is also depicted in the seven lambs where the seven lambs are without blemish. The true bread brings one to a restoration of truth cleansing one of blemishes, for here, one will seal the intent of Jesus and find their true rest.

THREE
One young bullock: The bullock is a hard labouring animal, it labours in the work to plough the field. The bullock is lean and of heavy weight to handle the field, speaking of effectiveness in the labour. The Lord began to speak to me about when a person has travailed, they are then to give birth. When the baby is born they cannot travail any longer. This is where it is with people in the kingdom; one sometimes does not know how it is when it is all done. The Lord would say that in such a case one needs to be in time to the river of God's life from the throne and be seasoned as not to uncover that which is to be rejoiced over; that being the promise that has been brought to the birth. For the travail does not open when the baby is already born - the Lord does not bring this burden.
On the same line a born again believer is no longer wanting to be committed to the fallen state but hungers for righteousness. Praise be to God! Jesus said in Matt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.

The Lord brought to me an analogy of our lives being as a film. The Lord has a movie to run in peoples' lives but the faithful have to honor those He has positioned to release unity and purity to their film-making. The Lord would want them to be connected into the key of His elder to release health into their film and financial sustenance also comes into the realm of their sphere. The Lord has spoken that their film cannot be in time to the secular seasons and wilderness of babylon but to the new cup He has brought unto their day. The cup is in the blood of His Son and He has testified of all that was in the Law and the Prophets - and He will release them from the key of men and 'His' key is that which overthrows the curse and the key in the elder is to release the purification of Him. The Lord has not a key to any mammon. The Lord has no honor by mammon or a covenant to a false altar, where hindrances come by fallen intentions. The Lord re-iterates He has not prepared for His people an altar of mammon. The Lord says, that He has a preparation to the day of His coming and that His people will need to allow Him, in the place of surrender, to run the movie like He has willed it to be. His will is not to be by the stature of those around but by His.
In all this, there is strength in the bullock but its labour in God's service is to be lived when one is yoked to Him.

FOUR
Two rams:
Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
God establishes the authority in the people when they encounter the Holy Spirit -He is the Divine Authority. The Holy Spirit leads one to resolve the Lamb's precept in their understanding. These understandings cannot come by the carnal mind nor can they come through presumption based on other frameworks that do not fit the seal of the Lamb. There is then a need for God's people to revere the Holy Spirit and allow Him to establish their knowledge of Him and this will be confirmed in the authority of scripture. The scripture will mirror that which the Spirit reveals. This is how the good doctrine of faith is understood.
2Pe_1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Rams from the Strongs concordance speaks of strength. The two rams represent the strength of His witness that is because a testimony is established by two witnesses.
When God provided the ram as a substitute for Isaac it was witnessing to the fact that Abraham had understood something glorious of the Lord's nature. He was not like the gods around that sacrificed their children to their false altars.
The true altar of God releases us to His goodness.
We see that Abraham knew that God would provide a substitute.
Gen 22:7-8 So they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” 8 Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together.

Yahweh was the true God who would give His own Son:
Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. 11 But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 12 He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called the name of that place, “The Lord will provide”;[b] as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”[c]
The ram in this account, was prophesying of Him who was to be the substitute for us. Abraham feared God and did not withhold His own Son - And so, God did not withhold His own Son to Abraham, having provided the blessing of the ram instead of Isaac. This also testified that He was in nature the Almighty God, also preventing the sacrifice of Isaac unlike the expectations of those gods around that were false.
The goodness of God had been witnessed to Abraham and us.

Another picture to consider in the ram being caught in the thicket is that the thicket represents the torah/God's law catching one to bring accountability of where they have been given to a false knowledge of Him. This false knowledge lacks the knowledge of His goodness to God's covenant people.

The manifest presence of God will comfort and minister to His people however the point of ones intimacy is understood in where 'His conviction that being His precept and law' is known and held high. The true Pentecost therefore will not sideline His conviction that being His very law that will release our lives to functionality and life for His glory, in where His goodness will shine to the unsaved. He has put the blood on the mercy seat He has opened the eyes of our understanding.
Blessings in Christ

Pentecost 4

PART 4 PENTECOST FOUNDATIONS - GOING ON TO MATURITY AND THE DOUBLE PORTION
Lev 23:19 Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
The final two offerings we now will deal with in the following:
Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats.

The Lord's offering is represented by one 'kid' of the goat, given for the sin offering. The Word 'kid' speaks of a young goat and from the root Strong's word H8175 relates to a storm - The kid represents one who is prevailing in frameworks outside of the tree of life. Even so, such a one can pursue their unholy ambition - immaturity of this kind, leads to lawlessness as one opposes honor for Christ's working

As one comes back to or prevails in Israel's foundation (deepening our roots as we do here in Leviticus 23) they will seal matters back to the law. That being Christ's conviction, as is revealed by His Spirit.

Saul and David

One of the bible characters, King Saul, is an example of one who had lacked perspective and brought great opposition to David. Here, a certain math, may bring understanding of God's kingdom working that here being the 'differentiation equation.' We see that Saul had missed his perspective concerning David. Saul had slain the thousands and David the tens of thousands (1 Samuel 18:7). A 'differentiation equation' can relate to for example a measure of velocity and then a measure of acceleration we can see this application to the account of Saul. David of-course had a preparation in the battle against the bear, lion and goliath but Saul also regarded him in where he gained opportunity to where he could overturn many in the battle. David gained momentum in such an honored opportunity, where Saul had come to a certain pace in his success, David was then able to gain momentum and bring an increase for great victories to be won. In the biblical account the women sang a song that highlighted the increase of David's momentum, however their song exposed David to Saul's jealousy (1 Samuel 18:7). Saul could have also taken a perspective of honor for David's increase. He could have praised God for David's increased capacity in over-throwing the adversary in the battle but for Saul kingdom principles did not come into play. In kingdom terms if we go back to our equation there is velocity and from there can come increase. Paul said in 1Co_3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. Saul however looked at things in terms of numbers in what could visibly give him glory and honor before men. He could have honored the anointing in the planting that was cultivated and harvested by David. When we look at David, we see that his success and increase did not take away his honor for Saul's anointing, we see that David was one who would discern the anointing on Saul having feared when he cut the hem of his garment. 1 Sam 24:5 And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt. The Saul spirit operates when there is focus on ones power rather than God's law and his kingdom principal. Overall, in Saul there is a disrespect to godly rule. The kingdom principle can be missed on both ends, however, as we relate back to the account in 1 Samuel David was not motivated in a way to dishonor Saul even when Saul made attempts on his life. This kingdom principle also applies today. The sin offering in the feast of Weeks (Pentecost) speaks of the provision that is at the cross for God's people to move onto maturity and be mobilised to gain the right perspective as to properly handle God's opportunity.

The apostolic

Goats naturally have a tendency to scatter and not wait for the shepherd. The apostolic seal is with our Shepherd Jesus and there is a pasture where the people of God can be in the peace of His authority with those He has chosen to be His ministers. In the cross of Jesus that which scatters one in different directions away from His authority can be broken. The birthright is established when one is established in His authority. The apostolic authority is also key to the body of Christ for this reason. True apostolic authority brings Christ's authority and government for the kingdom of God to function the way it is meant to. False apostolic authority will bring forth a people who cannot exercise their authority. Less emphasis is placed on the sermon or teaching, however, it is the sermons that are packed with the understanding of our relationship with the Saviour and His redemption. The topics that are covered in sermons for generations have established believers. The compromise that comes with this is that the Word as according to Psalm 138:2 is not magnified above His name as it ought to be. In such cases the Word is not consistently upheld in its rightful position or only sometimes is.

There is much to be said about the beauty of God's Presence, one can gage the love of God in His Presence. It is possible however for one to experience God's Presence and then not be established as a believer and that is because such a one has undermined the authority of the Word. The teachings and the sermons (that are downplayed) is what has established believers. The false apostolic starts to frustrate the portion and framework of Christ.

Mat_13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

Remembering that in the New Covenant the multitude gathered unto the Lord in where He spoke unto them the parable. The Lord also separated them by His Word. When the Lord spoke to the disciples to eat His flesh and drink His blood the seventy disciples had left and the twelve remained (John 6:53-59). The deciphering point here was that they did not seal back to the parable.

Israel saw the Presence of God as a cloud by day and pillar of a cloud by night (Exodus 13:22) however in Exodus 24 Israel's actual covenant was based on the law (torah) that God had given to Moses.

Exo 24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words. (These words being the commandments spoken unto them). In Pentecost the church must keep these things in mind. In John 12:50 Jesus said, "And I know that his commandment is life everlasting :whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."

THE DOUBLE PORTION
....and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

In the Feast of Weeks offering the two lambs speak of the double portion-

Consider Isa 61:7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

God meets us with the double portion. He bestows favor for one to prosper in their birthright and heritage. This is after they have reclaimed their joy, I see here that the oil of joy runs over where one is clothed as with His garment even unto where their heart will open to release His praise as where they are now to be a planting in Christ's righteousness. The Spirit of Sonship opens the portion of our peace.

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

See Isaiah 61. The Year of the Lord's Favor with special emphasis on verse 7.
Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Trumpets

Rosh Hashanah - Trumpet given this day.

I hear the Song of Moses the verse where it says "And by the blast of His nostrils, the waters where gathered together the floods stood upright as a heap and the seas were congealed in the heart of the sea.... (Exodus 15)

Today as the feast of trumpets unfolded God had declared His separation.

Purification would come out of this separation. This would be in time to the preparation of the pure bride.

Religious piety is one of the main causes of defilement - but God is going to separate people from this yoke, they will find themselves to be free and renewed into knowing the life to be lived in Yeshua. It cannot be lived in anyone else's current, it will be the current of man NO MORE. It will be a holy run, and healthy run, the Lord says, "one of My Day." This is where they will be released to run in the high note of where He is and He will esteem them who are running in the herald of faith. The Lord says, "And I have done deliverances in the herald," The Lord has spoken "I am not the legacy task master but the Deliverer, My people, I will not be owned (in the sense that corruption will not be the place where one possesses the Kingdom), I will do as I AM, I will open as I AM, I will seal My priesthood."

The Feast of Trumpets

Lev 23:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

God's prophets are like a trumpet.

Rev_1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Rev_4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

At the end of the age the last trump will sound.

1Co_15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The Trumpets in the book of Numbers

God sounded two silver trumpets for the assemblies. Establishing order in their journeying.

Num_10:2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

God had sounded the trump over the offerings. Ensuring that the Lord's offering would be acceptable even unto where it would be for them a memorial.

The blowing of the trumpets return people back to the Lord. The priests blew the trumpets. A holy prophet is also a priest unto God.

Num_10:8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.

The blowing of the trumpet is also to bring an alarm.

Num_10:9 And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

Trumpets used in warfare - See Judges 7, 2 Chronicles 13.

God had sounded the trump. The offerings would be accepted even unto them being a memorial unto the Lord.

Num_10:10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

Atonement

The feast of Atonement

The feast of atonement signfies the essence of that which underlies a holy assembly.

Here in Leviticus 23:27 it says that the feast was to be a holy convocation. The Hebrew word here, is miqra from the Strong's lexicon definition H4744 From H7121; something called out, that is, a public meeting; also a rehearsal: - assembly, calling, convocation, reading.
It is important to note in Lev:31-32 that the afflicting of the soul is associated to the sabbath. In light of the new covenant that was to come in Christ, we see that the sabbath rest in Christ was in time to the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and doing the will of the Father (Matthew 12:8). The afflicting of the soul, therefore, speaks of where one is fasted into the key of His power and not in the key of his or her own way. In this way one is postured to be fully immersed as where it says in Acts 17:28: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Leviticus 16 has a description of what was required in the atonement offering once a year for the atonement of the sins of Israel. In Leviticus 16:8-10 Aaron the high priest was to cast lots upon two goats and the lot that fell on one of the goats determined that this would be the scapegoat to be released to go into the wilderness and the other to be be offered as a sacrifice. The fulfillment in Christ here is found in the following verse:
Mat 27:26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

We then see in Leviticus 16 14:-15 that the blood of a bullock and goat was sacrificed and the blood then sprinkled on the mercy seat. And we then see in the book of Hebrews that Christ after being sacrificed and resurrected from the dead put His blood on the mercy seat.
Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Heb 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

The Lord had awoken Yom Kippur - (feast of atonement) to Mary saying "do not touch me." Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.And the debt had been cleansed first having shed His blood on earth and then having put the blood on the mercy seat in heaven, where His purification had now taken root. The blood on the mercy seat had now opened our discerning of the old testament scriptures to now, where Christ had fulfilled all things. Therefore the bride is to be immersed in the revelation brings her back to the finished work that will purify her for His return.
The joy of completion is where the bride is to have union with the Lamb. This immersion is where we begin to understand the marriage - this is the marriage to the portion of Jesus in time to the Supper.
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

May this feast prosper you in His way.

Tabernacles

Blessings everyone,

The Tabernacles season is a time when we celebrate the habitation of God. Below we look at this last portion of Leviticus 23, as you read I pray you rejoice as a son and daughter who has the promise of Him as your dwelling place.

The Feast of Tabernacles

During the harvest season Israel would bring in the fruit of the land. In Passover we had the barley harvest, in Pentecost we had the wheat harvest, now is the celebration of the fruit harvest.
The fruit of the harvest, related to their joy.
Lev 23:37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
These offerings were all a depiction of what Christ gave at the cross and through the veil His children have gained access to the Father's house according to Hebrews 4:16 we able to enter boldly before the throne of grace. The root word H935 for fruit in the Strong's lexicon more specifically means 'to go or come' 'abide' 'attain, enter, grant.'
The Son has restored our relationship to the Father where we have been 'granted' access to 'abide' even so this is the Father's house where we can 'go and come' in this sense we have a home with our Father in heaven.
So after the offerings were made the children of Israel would gather the fruit of the land.

Lev 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

In the wilderness the Israelites would abide under a tabernacle or booth for seven days. The Hebrews definition for the Word booth is sukkah and is defined as a hut or pavilion.
Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
The root word is sukak H5526A primitive root; properly to entwine as a screen; by implication to fence in, cover over, (figuratively) protect: - cover, defence, defend, hedge in, join together, set, shut up.

Overall, one here would see that the tabernacle of God is the place where one is under His cover so as to be adjoined to Him and be shut up in Him.

The booths were made of branches; to expand the definition to the shelter provided in the branches, we again see a revelation of the beauty of the habitation of God, the Hebraic meaning of the type of branches used for the roofing reveals this.

Lev 23:40 And ye shall take (H3947) you on the first (H7223) day (H3117) the boughs (H6529) of goodly (H1926) trees,(H6086) branches (H3709) of palm trees, (H8558) and the boughs (H6057) of thick (H5687) trees,(H6086) and willows (H6155) of the brook; (H5158) and ye shall rejoice (H8055) before (H6440) the LORD (H3068) your God (H430) seven (H7651) days. (H3117).

From the Hebrew Strong's lexicon we see the following descriptions:

The boughs (reward) of goodly (magnificence, splendour ) trees, means;
to abide under the Lord's reward - magnificence and splendour.

Branches (hollow hand or palm) of palm trees (to be erect), means;
to abide under the blessing and His uprightness.

The boughs (covering) of the thick trees (intwined), means;
to abide under the covering and to be entwined or intricately known of Him.

And willows (prim root to make pledges, be surety) of the brook (stream river, prim root to inherit) means;
to abide under the blood of Jesus the pledge of our security and under His streams or river that will cause us to inherit.

The children of Israel were thus commanded to rejoice under the habitation of Yahweh for seven days.
What a wonderful canopy we have in God this is surely the place where one can rejoice.

The feast of Tabernacles in Leviticus 23 points to the time in Revelation 21 speaking of the celebration of where the bride of Christ will abide with Him at the marriage.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev_21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
