STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Word of God

We believe that the Word of God is God breathed, inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16) and that the books that constitute the canon of Scripture in the Old and New Testaments have been selected through divine inspiration and confirmed by the Apostolic witness . (Council of Nicea in A.D. 325 and the First Council of Constantinople A.D. 381).

The Trinity

We believe in the eternal God-head is One and are three Persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. All three Persons being equal in divine substance (Matt 28:19, Joh 10:30-36, Eph 4:4-6, Col 2:9).

Christ's Deity

We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ who pre-existed as the Word of God (The Logos) and became the Word incarnate having become flesh through the virgin birth of Mary (Matt 1:23, Joh 1-7).

Salvation

We believe that when Adam sinned he lost his spiritual connection to the God-head (Gen 3:6).

The Lord Jesus Christ, through His death and shed blood on the cross, His burial and bodily resurrection and bodily ascension (Acts 1:9), to the right hand at the Father God (Heb 10:11-14) established salvation for mankind for those who would believe on His sacrifice.

Those who believe on His sacrifice for sin are raised to life to an eternity with Him and will not be condemned to hell which is the eternal judgement for those who have not been reconciled to the Father by the cross of His Son (Acts 4:12, Matt 27 & 28, Joh 3:16, Matt 25-26, Rev 20:15, 1 Joh 1:7).

The Holy Spirit indwelling believers

We believe that the Holy Spirit the third person of the Trinity comes to indwell those who receive salvation through Christ (2 Cor 1: 21-22) and empowers them to live a life of Christlikeness unto the Father. (John 3:5-8; Acts 1:8 and 4:31; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Galatians 5:16-18; Ephesians 6:12; Colossians 2:6-10).

We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers believers with spiritual gifts (1 Cor 12:8-10) and equips them through the five fold witness to His body as laid out in Ephesians 4:11-13.

"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man to the measure of the stature and fullness of Christ."

This Ministry is founded on the Pentecostal heritage and also welcomes people of all other denominations and those who are non-Christian and seek to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
